Nothing is more important than building a strong foundation and believing in God during one’s childhood. Today, when comparing yourself with your childhood friends or classmates, you realize there is nothing more important than building for your child a strong foundation, communication, imagination, and visualization with the Great God. What has separated you, protected you, guided you, and advanced you compared to your childhood friends, classmates, and colleagues is your strong belief in God, your constant dialogue and prayer with him, and your constant confidence in him, as your cornerstone of your life. It is as if there is an invisible umbilical cord connecting you to the Lord of the heavens.

Here in America or elsewhere in any other country in the world, the only one who can give this gift to your children is you and only you. As the old saying says, the more you put in it, the more you and your child will get out of it. Let your children learn their Islam from you rather than from people you do not know. Not everyone who recites the Quran in fluent Arabic is necessarily righteous, pious, or qualified. You are the best qualified person to teach Islam to your children. If you do not know enough about it, take time to learn it correctly and pass it on to your children.
